Assistant Accountant

- Our client operates a thriving business which for over twenty years, has seen consistent growth. Operating nationally they are looking for an accountant to work with the Financial Controller. Duties are primarily Financial Reporting, Balance sheets, Tax, inter-company transactions and banking. You will delegate for the Financial Controller when she is absent. You must: either be CPA or CA qualified to on the way to obtaining these accreditations; have excellent written and spoken English; fit into an accounting group where everyone cooperates, and ensures that the work is done as well as responding the financial queries from the operating divisions; have strong computer skills: MYOB, Excel and word. A current NSW drivers license is an asset as you will be responsible for banking. There is no on-site parking but on-street parking is available.
