Appen Butler Hill develops high quality speech and language technology solutions namely used in car navigation systems, mobile phones, word processing packages, directory assistance, speaker verification tools and hand-held machine translation devices. For this position we require a native French speaker to supervise speech recordings (during business hours only). This person will need to have arrived in Australia less than one year. The candidate's responsibilities are: - to book 20 French speakers in for two recording sessions (1 hour for each session) - to supervise all recordings made at our office in Chatswood - to recruit French speakers according to specific demographics Essential skills: - Technically savvy - Intermediate to advanced computer skills - Attention to details - Good interpersonal and organisational skills Remuneration: $22.07 per hour incl superann
