  • The National Broadband Network (NBN) is Australia’s new network for fixed line phone and internet services. NBN Telephone Systems There are some telephone companies advising customers that their phone systems will not work on the NBN and they will need to be upgraded; in this scenario its worth checking as there may be other solutions available. Just about any telephone system can be made to work with the NBN either with internal or external equipment. Options available for very old NEC phone systems. Option 1 - Time to upgrade to a new a new NEC phone system. Option 2 - Use ATA adapters to convert SIP/VoIP trunks to the same interface your current legacy phone system uses today.
